Question: i have a old silver dollar and the word, in god we trust i think is mispelled. it looks like trvst instead of trust. have any information, or know where i can get some about it. it is a 1923 liberty silver dollar. please help
Answer: ,As someone said the U is a newcomer to the alphabet a V was used a lot as a U and in some places still is.The 1923 was minted at three mint, no mint mark Philadelphia, with a D for Denver and with an S for San Francisco. The mint mark is on the reverse-eagle side-below the word one. None are rare or even scarce. In grade very good the value is $10.50 and only $11.50 in grade extra fine. In mint state $15-$21. the 1923-D is a little scarce in high grade so it is worth about $40 in Mint State. The above values are about what a coin dealer would pay. Hope this helps.
