bootleg copy?

Question: my little brother bought a tokyo mew mew 1-52 end animation from a website and showed it to me it came with a certificate of proof but i did some research and it is a bootleg my little brother got ripped off by 150$ dollars i called the seller my self for my little brother and the seller refuses to take it back and give my little brother his money back does any one know of a way i can get rid of a bootleg but still get my little brothers money back. without a lawsuit non of that judge judy crap that people reccommend

Answer: the only thing I can think of is reporting the person the the site where he got the item from (such as ebay) as faulsifying information, selling bootleg material, ect. I don't think that can get you your money back though without actually issuing a lawsuit. If anything, maybe contact the state/city where the person is from and reporting him for the falsification. Bootlegging is very illegal, anywhere you go. Maybe by threatening him with a lawsuit will get him to pay-up
