Question: My step dad and are family want to migrate to Australia but him and my mum are over 45. He is a jeweller by trade and has two sons from previous marriages living in australia. How could we apply for a visa?
Answer: I think he can if he has two children in australia as permanent resident....if the number of his and his partner's children living in australia is more than any other country..for example if he has three children and two of them live in australia he can..if he has four and two live in australia he can...if he has five and two live in australia and the other three each live in a different country then he can....this is called balance of family test.
