Question: I was listening to NPR late saturday night, and it was like a techno type jazz that i loved, and i guess it is called acid jazz. So i wanted to know if there is any good bands out there i can get into to start my new acid jazz interest. Any answers would be greatly appreciated!
Answer: Beastie Boys have hovered a bit w/ acid jazz and the jazz fusion. Try their instrumantal album "The In Sound From Way Out." I haven't heard their recent instrumantal album yet, but it's worth a sample.
